Nicole, Insurance Guru Extraordinaire (Part Time)

A long time employee of Dr. Gottlieb, Nicole has been handling insurance with us for 11 years.  Her favorite thing about working in the optometric field is the variety patients she gets to meet and especially enjoys building relationships with long time patients who often pop in just to say hello.

Nicole is currently studying to be a hair stylist and cosmotologist and enjoys her Mondays here at Sharper Vision wrangling insurance claims instead of foils and hair color.

Her talents extend beyond the world of insurance claims, as she is also an avid crafts creator, teddy-bear shaped pancakes chef, hair styling guru, and full time Mother to a beautiful little girl named Natasha.

Leslie, Insurance Genius/Juggler

Leslie has been with us since the summer of 2011 and brings with her years of experience in medical administration.

With her witty personality, Leslie often makes patients laugh and enjoy their appointment in an environment that is relaxed and friendly. Leslie enjoys the fashion aspect of eyewear and the comradery with patients.  She especially likes knowing that she plays a role in people being able to take in life's incredible moments with clear and healthy vision.

Her hobbies include rock climbing, reading, movies, music, and playing guitar hero where she currently holds the family title for "Best Rockout Moment of All Time."

Katherine, Director of Marketing & Opticial Guru

Katherine has been with our practice since the summer of 2011 and brings with her nearly 10 years in the optometric field.  She enjoys the fashion of eyewear and believes in the motto that every face just needs the right frame.

She enjoys working with patients and helping them find their perfect piece of eyewear, however, she also likes being in the background designing patient communication and administering social media for our practice.

Some of her hobbies include taekwondo where she currently ranks a blue belt, horseback riding, reading, animal rescue, and a variety of community service volunteer positions.  She lives on a horse farm in a small town with her husband and two terrific kids which she lovingly refers to as her "lil monkeys."

Curtis, Optical Guru and Lord of the Lab

Curtis is a new addition to our practice, but a lifelong optician and brings with him an ABO certification.  He enjoys working with all our patients and helping them find that perfect piece of eyewear.  He is very gifted in repairs, troubleshooting, and lens production.

With his positive attitude and great sense of humor, Curtis lends a unique talent of technological know-how blended with a genuine care for people.  Hailing from Alaska, he enjoys Georgia's summers but misses hitting the ski slopes where he made a hobby of jumping from helicopters onto fresh powdery ridges.

Leigh, Front Desk Sage

Leigh is a recent addition to Sharper Vision, however, she has worked in the optometric field for years and has a wealth of knowledge.

Quick to give a good chuckle, a friendly smile, or a knowing nod, Leigh is exactly the right "fit" to give patients the extra care and attention that they deserve.

An Auburn fan through and through (we forgive you), Leigh can often be found enjoying her sweet tea from her Auburn cup between phone calls and patients.

Katelin, Optician and Technician Extraordinaire

Hailing from East Tennessee, Katelin brings with her years of experience in the optometric world.  Among her favorite things in this career is helping people find an amazing piece that strikes a chord within and makes people feel confident, and charismatic in their new eyewear.

With her friendly smile, energetic personality, and positive outlook Katelin delivers a truly incredible patient experience.

Some of her hobbies include working out, cooking, scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband and family.  When she is not spending time here at Sharper Vision or participating in her hobbies, she can often be found eating a peanut butter and banana sandwich in secret.

Stop on by to say hello to our newest guru, you're in for a treat!
