OUR VISION TEST SERVICES
When most people think of a vision test, usually they think of reading letters on an eye chart. However, this is only a small part of what we do. Not only do we test your vision, but your eyes are examined both externally and internally. Early detection of most optical problems is the most affective way to begin treatment; therefore, Dr. Mark A. Gottlieb stresses the importance of an annual eye examination.
During your annual exam, your eyes will be examined for cataracts and glaucoma, as well as many other conditions affecting your eyes. Binocular vision, testing the cranial nerves, and color vision are routinely tested.
Not every vision examination ends in a pair of glasses. If your examination indicates a need, Dr. Mark A. Gottlieb will prescribe glasses or contact lenses, based on your vision needs and personal choice.

CONTACT LENSES
If you need or prefer contact lenses, you can choose from daily wear soft and rigid gas-permeable, soft extended-wear, frequent replacement, bifocals, disposables, eye color enhancement lenses and standard hard lenses.
Dr. Mark A. Gottlieb specialilzes in a revolutionary new contact lens treatment that can improve your vision in hours-days-weeks. Myopia (nearsightedness) and astigmatism are reduced, and your eyesight will be dramatically improved.
The procedure involves lenses that are fitted in progressive stages to gently reshape the cornea towards less curvature and a more spherical shape. This is non-surgical vision improvement. After improvement, you simply see better without the help of glasses or contact lenses. Retainer lenses are periodically worn to stabilize the results.
Orthokeratology and Paragon CRT lens therapy can prevent deterioting vison in children caused by myopia. Also, this procedure allows pilots, policemen and firemen to meet required uncorrected vision demands.
